Brent Layton serves as Executive Vice President & Chief Business Development Officer (Domestic and International) for Centene Corporation (No. 61 US Fortune 500 and No. 244 Fortune Global 500), a leading multi-line healthcare enterprise that works with state governments to ensure people receive quality healthcare through government-funded programs. A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Mr. Layton received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia. He is married and has two children, and currently resides in St. Louis, Missouri.
Will Witherspoon is a former NFL linebacker who currently works in the financial field at Forge Consulting. Mr. Witherspoon is a University of Georgia graduate who excelled in the NFL for 12 seasons, rarely missing a game from his linebacker position. Mr. Witherspoon played for the Carolina Panthers, St. Louis Rams, Philadelphia Eagles and Tennessee Titans. He was a team captain, a team MVP and an Ed Block Courage Award recipient. Mr. Witherspoon is active in all youth sports in his free time as well as the proud owner of a farm in Owensville, MO.
Kurt Hunzeker is a senior sports marketing executive with 20+ years of strategic leadership, management and hands-on operational experience, including perspective gained working on all sides of the sports marketplace (agency, brand, media and property). In July 2019, Hunzeker was named President of the XFL’s team in his hometown of St. Louis. Hunzeker is responsible for the BattleHawks’ fan engagement and business operations, including ticket sales, corporate partnerships, marketing, content, communications, community relations and the gameday experience.
Prior to the BattleHawks, Hunzeker led Minor League Baseball’s national marketing and fan development initiatives – including the award-winning “Copa de la Diversión” campaign – to fuel continued revenue growth for MiLB and its 160 teams across North America. Hunzeker joined Minor League Baseball in 2015 after spending five years with Rawlings Sporting Goods as Senior Director of Brand Marketing, where he led Rawlings' global brand marketing, media buying and partnership activation efforts. Prior to Rawlings, Hunzeker worked on the sports marketing agency side of the industry, and authored Sports Advertising Process in 2002. The St. Louis, Missouri and Tampa, Florida native earned his Bachelor of Journalism (Strategic Communication) at the University of Missouri's School of Journalism.
